 | | Us & Four Seasons Investigations Unit. | | | The Investigations Unit
like the Security Service works with Four seasons Law on the behalf of Four
Seasons and has many different roles within the Four Seasons. Any and all
investigations are conducted to the highest standers and within the
requirements of the law. The results of which can be used to assist in a
prosecution. When a case is passed on to be investigated by the Investigations
Unit there are many things they look into. In the event of the information
being investigated being found to be truthful and correct, the Investigations
Unit will pass on the information to the relevant authorities. |
| | Us & Four Seasons Security Service. | | | Four Seasons Security Service has many different jobs within Four Seasons. But their main job is to provide security to the investigations unit (FSIU) staff if needed. Some jobs bring them into direct contact with the general public. When they are asked for help they have the task of going to meet the people concerned with the FSIU staff and if necessary they will notify the police in the event of there being any criminal activity from the person concerned. They also can be asked by the police to make a statement and to attend court to give evidence in the event of a person being arrested and being prosecuted in a court of law. |
| | Us & The Law. | | | There are many laws that may affect the
World Naked Bike Rides and other events and protests. We have people that we
can call upon to help if required. The laws are the Human Rights Act 1998,
Public Order Act 1986, Anti-Social Behaviour Crime and Policing Act 2014, Road
Traffic Act 1991, Sexual Offences Act 2003 & Public Nuisance and Outraging
Public Decency. There are, however, laws that the police like to use against
things they are not comfortable with and nudity seems to sometimes be one of
those things. Their favorite is section 5 of the Public Order Act
1986. |
| | Us & The World Naked Bike Rides. | | | The World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR) is not
against the law and we ourselves are very well aware of the law on this matter.
We also have many UK acts of parliament at our disposal that we can refer to
for help and guidance. Also, many people misinterpret the law mistakenly
thinking that any form of nudity in public is illegal when in fact this is not
the case. Section 66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. is one such case It is
designed to catch the flasher, not a naturist or naked bike rider and those
responsible for wording this law are on record as saying this. |
| | Us & The Four Seasons Events, Protests, &
Festivals. | | | The Four Seasons group and committee have many different events, as
diverse from each other as the Four Seasons World Naked Bike Rides are
themselves & all are organised as a protest against one thing or another.
All our events have been created to bring together people around the world in a
fun celebration of life as well as celebrate the light-hearted side of what it
is to be human. We hope that all our events will become as popular as the
protests that are managed by the Four Seasons. We provide a full range of legal
services to all our events & protests just as we would for any other event
& protest. |
| | Us & The Police. | | | Over the years the Four Seasons has built
up a good working relationship with the Police in the four counties in the UK
where the Four Seasons rides and other events operate. We are very proud of our
relationship and will always provide any evidence we have to the police in
order to assist them with the prosecution of anybody that breaks the law in any
way. We also act as liaison officers between the Police and the Four Seasons if
needed. In the event of someone being found guilty in a court of law, we will
file compensation and damages claims against them for and on the behalf of Four
Seasons. |
| | Us & Four Seasons Pledge Recovery. | | | When a pledge is made to
Four Seasons the people that make the pledge need to understand that it is
legally recoverable and must be honored. If this is not the case we will for
and on the behalf of Four Seasons automatically start a preceding in the county
court against the person or persons that made the pledge. A pledge becomes
payable one month after the end of the season or one month after an event other
than a bike ride has taken place. Before the month is up the Four Seasons Group
legal department will endeavor to recover the pledge before handing the papers
over to Four Seasons Law. |
| | Us & Protest & Event Management Plan & Risk
Assessments. | | | Your protest management plan needs to be sent into the police well
before the date of the protest ride on average about six months before the ride
is more than sufficient. You also need to give the police one calendar month to
respond to the protest plan before you contact the police again. Risk
assessments are only legally required when an activity is taking place as part
of a business operation. The Four Seasons is NOT a business, and the people
that take part in our events and protests are members of the general public. If
required we can help you with management plans & risk
assessments. |
| | Us & UK Local Authority Safety Advisory Groups. | | | Each local authority has a
Safety Advisory Group and its always a good idea to attend a meeting with them
before the event or protest if asked. This is so that they can make
recommendations to you about the event or protest safety. Remember the Safety
Advisory Group has no power to stop a protest. The group may try to trick you
into saying its an event so be careful what you say. So always make it clear
that any protest, is not an event. If for example protest where events they
would come within the mandate of the local authority and therefore give the
local authority control over them. |
| | Us & Route Planning. | | | When planning a route for any march or
bike ride it's always a good idea to use an online service to work out the
route for you. There are many online services that do this. If you wish we can
assist with the route planning and even arrange to have the route tested on
your behalf. Also, The Routes Advisory Service Safety Advisory Group also known
as Rassag was created to assist in the planning of cycle routes and cycleways
as well as give advice on the event and protest safety. It's important that
each route is tested one week before each event or protest ride. |
| | Us & The Bans and Restrictions List. | | | The list is compiled by an
Independent Committee for and on behalf of the World Naked Bike Rides Its job
is to look after the list of Bans and Restrictions and to inform rides about
people that are not welcome on the rides worldwide. All the people on the list
are there with the knowledge of the police in the towns and cities where the
rides take place. When we receive a request for a person to be added to the
list. We review the accompanying evidence that came with the request and make a
decision on behalf of the Four Seasons before submitting the request to the
Independent Committee for addition. |
| | Us & The Four Seasons Constitution. | | | The Four Seasons
Constitution is a set of requirements that the rides must fulfill in order to
be called World Naked Bike Rides and it covers the ethics of the rides in full,
It is also in part a legally binding agreement between all the rides in the
Four Seasons region. As custodians of the constitution, it is our duty to see
to it that it is if necessary enforced. For a change to happen to the
constitution, all the members of the Four Seasons management must vote and
agree to any changes. It is our responsibility as the administrators and
custodians to administrate over any voting process in all constitutional
issues. |
